ZCMS students in Ms. Pipes's eighth grade Career Technical Education (CTE) class took their businesses into the "Shark Tank" on Tuesday, September 26. Teams of students in the class invented a company, a logo, and a product to sell in front of a board of staff judges, like the show Shark Tank. The activity taught ZCMS students skills in entrepreneurship, research, presenting, and critical thinking.
