Christopher Johnson Principal

I am proud to work for my own community as Principal of Zion Central Middle School. My mission is to ensure every Central student is set up to be successful in life, both inside and outside of school. Dealing with several challenges growing up, I would not have arrived at a career in education without the supportive guidance of the educators who helped me grow, and it is my duty to provide our students with the same experience. Every student deserves to say they have someone who cares for them and invests in their future.

Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time this year, we are honored to partner with you in your child’s educational journey. At ZCMS, we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our focus will continue to be on high-quality instruction, strong relationships, and a school culture built on respect, responsibility, and resilience. We believe that strong attendance, along with partnerships between school and home, is key to student success, and we invite you to stay involved, communicate openly, and be an active part of our vibrant school community.
